Salam Reformasi!
Assalamualaikum and salam reformasi!
Yes, I know, these days we are asking the new government to change Malaysia, to reform Malaysia. Of course this kind of favor from citizens is good. Because thats what we want, the betterment of Malaysia! That means people are aware that Malaysia isnt good enough as it is now.
But, people! do you realize that Malaysia can never move forward and be a developed country as long as it citizens have very bad attitudes. How long are you gonna realize this? Our attitudes are the most important factors for our country's development!
Bila kita nak maju kalau perangai masih mundur?
We can see everywhere, whenever there are new facilities built, like not even a year, even after a week, it will be vandalised. Like harshly not just like writing something by pencils no, but being tore apart, being broken badly and so on. What is this?
Also, we can see almost all civil servants treat citizs badly like JPJ, Police, Hospitals and even any administration offices. Once, my house was broken into and we lost few laptops and thousands ringgit which is not my mother's money but the school's money. But, the police came and yeah interrogated my mom like she was the one at fault like
"why did you leave the money?"
"why didnt you bring the money together?"
"why didnt you bring the money together?"
and my mom said she even treated her worse at the police station. Hell dude, when are you gonna change that kind of attitude that treats all like criminals?
Like, for me, I am young, yeah, 20 is young, an adolescent, isn't? Sometimes, civil servants dont treat young people as human, yeah maybe because I wear something not really flashy, and I look like kid. But, is it really a good manner even to treat someone who are younger than you badly?
Be kind to all, thus all will be kind to you. Give your respect to all, thus all will respect you.
I hold dearly to this principle although when I grow up I learn that people sometimes act harshly towards us although we have done enough to be kind and well-mannered. But, trust me, if everyone in this world hold dearly to this principle, and mannerless attitude also will lessen among humans. Trust me, a betterment of a society starts with everyone of us! It does not start with government.
